Vilnius Grand Resort, a luxury country estate in Lithuania

The Location

Vilnius Grand Resort is a country estate set within whopping 395 acres of magnificent scenery.  With only 20 minutes away from Vilnius city, one of the tourist hub in Lithuania, the resort has got a lot of greenery and open space from the buzzing city.

Hotel Rooms

The resort boasts of 185 spacious rooms and suites that can fit any kind of travellers – business, leisure, family, or honeymooners. The rooms are decorated grand and classic style furnished with all modern comforts and luxurious amenities.

Apartments & Townhouses

This luxurious resort also offer home rentals and holiday apartment rentals which provides a “home away from home” kind of experiences. These holiday homes are near to the golf course, about 5-10 minutes away from the resort itself.  These luxury vacation homes come with inviting benefits of having a private space with all comfortable furnishings and fully equipped kitchen, while still having access to all the facilities of the resort.  The apartment is spacious, fully furnished and has a smart home control system. We stayed in one of the holiday apartments and felt so much like home and were able to relax, have a space for ourselves and still enjoy all the conveniences of home.

Facilities

The resort houses championship golf course, a renowned spa and fitness centre, conference rooms, and large venues for events, meetings and weddings.  The resort also has a beautiful setting by the lake for wedding venue. And has the capacity to run large events and workshops for corporates. There are also wake-boarding facilities during summer.

Restaurants

There are 2 restaurants – La Paysage Restaurant, an indoor dine-in and Bora Bora Grill, an outdoors restaurant near the lake.  There are also sunset lounge and bar that offers snacks and refreshments throughout the day. The restaurants catered to our diet requirements and served us with vegan and vegetarian food choices. 

Customer Service

The reception and other staff members were all very helpful.  The apartment wifi was not working on the day we went, and the staff immediately attended to this to ensure it works fine.  Also, the staff members helped us by making recommendations of the tour and helped us book one of the hot air balloon rides.  The resort also has shuttle buses that run regularly to the Vilnius city centre, which comes in handy for people who do not have car.

Vilnius Grand Resort is surrounded by pristine lakes and pine and birch forests, you cannot ask for a better landscape setting to unwind your stress and have a relaxing holiday. Also, the resort is ideal if you wish to explore rest of the country.  It’s positioned in the middle, so travelling to Trakai National Park or Kaunas is going to be much easier.
