Al Mamzar Beach Park is one of the best offbeat places to visit in Dubai. It is not crowded and most of the tourists do not know about this place. Plus, there are plenty of things to do in Al Mamzar Beach Park, including four clean beaches.
Dubai is a concrete legoland. It is synonymous to superlative glitzy skyscrappers, water theme parks , thralling expat community and huge shopping malls. Or that’s what we expect when we visit Dubai. Our friends who live in Dubai recommended Al Mamzar Beach Park, one of those places only locals know about. And we immediately jumped into the idea of visiting this park.

Al Mamzar Beach Park is situated on an inlet at the mouth of Khor Al Mamzar across Sharjah. The park has a long stretch of four undisturbed white sand beaches with blue flag status.
The park is a huge 106 hectares area, covered with as many as 1600 palm trees and 300 coconut trees. The beach park has beach huts, huge mass of welcoming green space, walking areas, grassed picnic areas, swimming pools, and is a good attraction to be added to top things to do in Dubai.
Things to do in Al Mamzar Beach Park
OUTDOOR FITNESS
The park is a perfect spot to do walking, jogging, stretching and yoga. The park is open throughout, so you can conveniently choose your time and hit the park for your daily fitness routine.
BEACH & SWIMMING
The park is home to 4 clean beaches and a swimming pool. And this place is not so crowded with tourists, and makes it a perfect place to enjoy beach and go swimming.
CATCH A SUNSET
The park is a perfect place to unwind a busy day and catch a sunset. You can see our pictures of dusky evening and sunsets that we captured during our stay.
RENT A CHALET
The park also offers Chalets that can be booked for the day using Al Mumzar App. Check the updated rates in the app. The chalets are well equipped with sofa, kitchen facilities and is a perfect idea to wake up with a beach views!
JET SKI

BARBEQUE OR PICNIC
Traveling in Dubai can be overwhelming at times. Dubai attractions that range from gazing at skyscrapers, to water theme parks, Dubai Marina, Souks and a lot more. This park is a perfect place to relax and slow down a little bit with your friends or family.
Information about Al Mamzar Beach Park
- Spreading over 106 hectares, the park is a welcoming green space in Dubai.
- There are 4 clean beaches, swimming pool, changing rooms, showers, sunloungers, umbrellas, beach huts, assigned barbecue areas, grassed picnic areas.
- The park is also equipped with restaurants and food kiosks.
- The park has a watersports centre, skating arena, amphitheatre for music events and prayer rooms.
- There are ample car parking space (both free and paid).
- The beach has a Monday and Wednesday ladies day. Gents and kids aged above 4 years are not allowed during these days.
- The entrance fees to the park is 5 AED.
- Opening Timings: 8am to 10pm.
How to get to Al Mamzar Beach?
If you are looking for public transport, the nearest metro station is Al Qiyadah (green line). The park is 6.5 kms away from Al Qiyadah metro station. Alternatively, you can take bus number C28 towards Mamzar beach direction which gets you to the entrance of the park.
